COVID-19 and 2022 Courses, Tutored Retreats and Untutored Retreats
As of 1st November 2021 we are hoping that our 2022 courses and retreats will be able to continue to be fully residential. If however, there are any new restrictions put in place due to Covid-19 preventing us from being residential, the advertised course/tutored retreat will run online, via Zoom. Untutored Retreats will either run with restricted numbers or would be cancelled.
Places on courses, tutored retreats and untutored retreats should be booked as normal with a deposit of £150 to secure your place.
The price for an online course will be £430. Places will be limited to eight so as to maintain the small group numbers and individual attention The Garsdale Retreat is known for.
Four weeks before the start of the course, tutored retreat or untutored retreat we will let you know if it is going to go online or be cancelled (untutored retreats). At which time you will have the choice to either pay the balance or have your deposit refunded.
Structure of the online week is as follows:
Monday: 5.00pm – 6.00pm Introductory Workshop
Tuesday – Friday:
9.30am – 11.00am Workshop 1
11.30am – 1.00pm Workshop 2
3.00pm – 5.00pm Writers’ Chat Room
8.00pm – c.9.00pm Evening Event including Tutor Reading and Guest Reading
Additionally each participant will receive a 30 minute individual tutorial during the week.
